The Flavour Venue Search 2021 London research trip was certainly very fruitful. Being familiar with new venues and updates is essential when making recommendations to our clients, so we strive to research as many spaces as possible in person. A particularly memorable experience was our stay at the newly refurbished NYX Hotel London Holborn. Following an extensive upgrade, this extremely stylish hotel venue has an instagrammable fresh look which is destined to attract party bookings and leisure guests in their droves. We were fortunate enough to enjoy their delightful facilities first-hand, and here’s what we found.
NYX Hotel London Holborn is conveniently located just a few hundred meters from Holborn Station. With the West End a short walk away, it’s the perfect base for shoppers, theatregoers, tourists, and night-time revellers. The exterior wall is decorated with an enormous street art piece depicting the vibrancy of London life, and the artful touches continue in abundance upon entering the hotel. We fell in love with the décor, instantly wishing our home could look like this. Sleek black panther statues guard the reception area, with tasteful use of neon and mirrored surfaces complimenting the natural light from the floor to ceiling windows. Graffiti touches, eye catching cushions and statement furniture fills an open space which transitions from daytime workspace to a dining area and dancefloor as the sun sets. The magnificent geometric DJ booth at the end of the room states that NYX knows how to party. We can’t wait to introduce more corporate clients to their impressive party space. The first-floor restaurant also includes a bright and airy private room, ideal for meetings, seminars, and private dining events. The renovation of their rooftop event space is currently in progress. We can’t wait to return to check it out once finished.
Following a comprehensive tour to fully appreciate their event potential, we navigated cool blue corridors to our bedroom. We were wowed by the styling of our well facilitated Space room. Filled with contemporary art and pleasing touches, such as a SMEG mini fridge, 49inch TV, king bed and curved work desk. The room was comfortable, tastefully decorated and oozing with London chic. Fortunately, we found time to don our hotel bathrobes and slippers to venture downstairs to the spa. The hotel boasts an enormous basement pool, plus a sauna, steam room and a selection of treatment rooms. We managed to find time to work up an appetite for the delicious hotel breakfast in the gym too. It was facilitated to a high standard, featuring a wide selection of dumbbells, plus bars and plenty of heavy plates for free weight training, which isn’t always common at hotel gyms. The selection of modern cardio machines offers all the opportunity you’d need for a great workout too.
Our stay at NYX Hotel London Holborn gave us all the information we needed and more. Enjoying the comfort of the hotel, and the warm, attentive service of their staff was an absolute pleasure. Exploring the results of the stylish redecoration filled us with excitement to recommend the venue for Christmas parties, corporate socials, and group bookings too.
