On April 12th, many of the UK’s hospitality venues reopened to serve groups of up to 6 guests from their exterior spaces. As per the UK Government roadmap, events for up to 30 guests outdoors will be permitted no earlier than May 17th, with some indoor business events permitted, subject to meeting Covid safety guidelines. 21st June is the date it is hoped all remaining settings will reopen. Flavour Events have recently experienced a huge increase in enquiries for events at venues. However, many clients are still booking virtual events for their key 2021 dates. Flexibility Most event venues represented by Flavour Events have introduced fair cancellation policies which protect bookers during these unprecedented times. Excellent venues such as The Botanist, Jin Bo Law and Church House Westminster allow flexible cancellation in the event of new restrictions being implemented. This gives event bookers the confidence to book ahead without worrying about what might happen. Flavour Virtual offer flexibility in virtual event bookings too. Our Music Bingo, Gameshow Bonanza and Bespoke Virtual Events come with an option to reschedule your event date, provided 7 weeks-notice is given.
Availability Finding and securing the perfect venue can be challenging, which is why we’re here to help. Despite uncertainty, we highly recommend booking well in advance to get the venue you want. Please note that while many venues have reopened, some will remain closed until further restrictions are lifted. Virtual events are great for reuniting friends and colleagues who’ve not met up in a long time. Guests enjoyed not having to travel, and that their families could join the fun too. When planning events at venues, consider how your guests will arrive there and return home. Many attendees will decline invitations if travel is too difficult. We’d advise looking for an event venue near to your workplace or choosing a location with great transport links and a choice of travel options.
