Paws for a Cause is a special event ideal for animal lovers, conservation advocates or anyone eager to participate in a meaningful charity activity. In teams, you’ll build enrichment equipment such as feeders, furniture and toys for animals in local shelters. These contributions will help the charities to provide better animal care and support conservation efforts for various species.

On the day:

The event starts with an inspiring presentation about the animal charity you are supporting, whether this is an animal shelter, wildlife park, sanctuary or zoo. Learn about their vital work in animal conservation and the specific species benefiting from this event. This will be determined by local charities based on the current needs of the animals.

After your group is divided into smaller teams, each team will have their own workshop station equipped with tools for the project. Our experienced instructor will provide comprehensive health and safety instructions, so don’t worry if you're never used a power tool before - it's about stepping out of your comfort zone and learning new things.

Beyond DIY skills, teamwork and communication are key in this event as your team must follow the instructions and complete the project in a specified timeframe. Whether you're building feeders, furniture or toys, you're making a tangible impact on shelter animals' lives, enriching their living environments.

Following the event, the items will be delivered to the animal shelter where staff will install them for immediate benefit to the animals. If possible, we'll share photos and videos of your creations in use, which you can showcase on your social media and website.

The minimum spend for each session is £3,100+VAT, which accommodates 25 guests. Additional guests can be added for an extra £60+VAT per person.
