Hire Fee
Once the Law Society’s personal bookstore, The Old Bookshop is an ideal meeting room for smaller workshops and board meetings.
The room is well equipped with a fixed screen and projector. Smartly but simply decorated, with antique English oak panelling taken from the Hall of the Honourable Society of New Inn which was built around 1531, the room is bathed in natural light and discreetly tucked away by the main entrance.

The beautiful refurbished Grade 2* listed building boasts both traditional features with contemporary touches throughout. Making it ideal not only for weddings and private dinners, but also conferences, product launches, exhibitions and informal gatherings. The building also plays host to Six Clerks, our restaurant and bar area. Here we serve food and drink between 09:00 – 17:00. We have a selection of hot and cold drinks, light meals, salads, snacks and hand baked cakes and slices available. In the evening this space can also be transformed into an event space.
