The Hop House is a secluded space conveniently located adjacent to our main restaurant floor and just steps away from the bar. This fully curtained-off area* is more spacious and illuminated compared to our basement Cooks’ Room, offering privacy while still allowing guests to enjoy the ambient buzz from our dining room.
The Hop House can accommodate up to 24 seated guests and features a mobile screen ideal for presentations.

This building was repurposed by 'colonial and foreign fruit' merchants J. O. Sims in 1932 as a fruit warehouse and auction hall. Downstairs at Borough, the Cooks’ Room is hailed as one of the best private dining rooms in London. With its own private kitchen, it offers an immersive dining experience where chefs cook right in front of you and your guests. The private dining room can accommodate groups of up to 22 people. Enjoy £5 corkage all day on Mondays, and savour roasts on Sundays that Observer Food Monthly named among the best in the UK. Our Express Menu is available until 6pm from Monday to Saturday, and after 5pm on Sundays.
